Job Summary
The University of Kentucky Markey Cancer Center is looking to hire a Data Management Specialist to facilitate the collection, integration, and utilization of data supporting a broad range of cancer research efforts.
Relevant skills and experience include:
o Proficiency in programming with Java and/or Python to carry out data analysis on large and complex datasets.
o Proficiency in using SQL with relational databases, MySQL/Postgresql preferred
o Experience with electronic medical record data or clinical databases preferred.
o Experience developing REDCap forms and accessing REDCap API to efficiently export/import patient data.
o Familiarity with Linux-based operating systems
o Experience with open source software installation and maintenance
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
SQL , REDCap, open source software and database development, Linux operating systems
