Job Summary
The University of Kentucky is seeking an Accountant Specialist. This position is responsible for reconciling, auditing claims invoices, and providing timely and accurate reports for the self funded student health insurance program. This position is also responsible for accounts receivable reconciliations, auditing and approving JV workflow, review and set up of accruals and analysis and financial reporting for assigned entities.
The Accountant Specialist will be responsible for maintaining current enrollment eligibility listings and correspondence with University departments and third party administrators regarding enrollment eligibility; monitoring account activity and analyze account data for changes and anomalies in the data and correcting any errors; producing the monthly accrual SHP financial report to project costs for the remaining plan year.
