Position Summary
The Multimedia Developer is an integral member of the Education and Training Team, responsible for producing engaging, multimedia eLearning materials using course designs created by instructional designers for (ISC) 2 certification training and professional development curriculum.
Responsibilities
Create interactive multimedia elements using a variety of tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud applications - Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator.
Conceptualize and develop graphical user interfaces for learning applications.
Develop engaging, interactive eLearning materials and prepare for import to a Learning Management System (LMS).
Utilize course design documentation, outlines and supporting content to improve designs for eLearning modules and generate instructional videos with meaningful learning solutions, working in collaboration with Instructional Designers and the Creative Service Team.
Create and edit storyboards, scripts, multimedia, narration, graphics, games, animations and interactive simulations; and partner with stakeholders throughout the development and delivery process.
Collaborate with contract media developers and graphic designers and provide guidance and instruction, as required.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Digital Multimedia Design or related field preferred
Moderate to advanced level facility with Adobe Creative Suite
Strong proficiency developing web pages with HTML, CSS3 and Javascript
Intermediate level skillset constructing animations within an eLearning tool or separate software such as Adobe Animate
Experience creating course content within an LMS environment; preferably D2L Brightspace
Firm grasp and understanding of SCORM standards and application (1.2, 2004)
Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) capabilities and limitations
Microsoft products (PowerPoint, Word and Excel) and eLearning authoring tools
Understanding of gamification methodologies as applied to learning
Experience working with professional membership associations preferred
Learning solution architecture experience is a plus

Physical & Mental:
Up to 10% travel may be required
Work normal business hours and extended hours when necessary
Remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting, for prolonged periods
Regular use of office equipment such as a computer/laptop and monitor computer screens
Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other computer components
Ability to see differences between colors, shades, and brightness
