Job Description:


Job Summary:

•Responsible for performing functions necessary for the fiduciary management of residential real estate assets held in trust, estate, guardianship and agency accounts.

•Coordinate the acquisition, sale, leasing and ongoing management of properties, including reviewing market due diligence, and engaging appraisers, real estate brokers, attorneys, inspection firms and related vendors.

•Prepare, negotiate, review and revise listing agreements, purchase and sale agreements, closing documents, lease agreements and other related documents. Review real estate appraisals, title reports and environmental reviews.

•Schedule and coordinate the general maintenance of properties. Coordinate the timely payment of taxes, insurance, utilities, and maintenance expenses.

•Review and maintain property insurance to ensure full coverage.

•Coordinate and complete initial and annual reviews for sale or retention of properties, annual physical inspections, regular valuation updates, and other requirements of governmental regulations.

•Make recommendations to the appropriate fiduciary management and oversight committees regarding real estate assets.

•Communicate with colleagues, co-fiduciaries, clients, attorneys, brokers, contractors, third-party managers and other service providers.

This position may be located in Sarasota or Miami.

Qualifications:

•Candidates should 5 years or more of professional experience in the management, sale, and acquisition of real estate assets, preferably within a trust and estate, legal or investment environment.

•Knowledge of real estate markets, real estate asset management procedures and practices, and regulatory policies regarding real estate held in various fiduciary capacities, acquired through work experience or formal training.

•Excellent analytical, negotiation, organizational, verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills are required to effectively manage real estate assets and relationships.

•Ability to multi-task and prioritize, and to work independently and with teams in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy is critical.

•Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

•Experience with Yardi or similar property management software.

•Bachelor's degree preferred or relevant work experience.
