Major Responsibilities: 

• Verify all E-Stops on Filler are operational and all guards are in place prior to start up.


• Verify cleanliness of Filler prior to start up.


• Ensure all connections on Filler are tight prior to start up and Filler timing is correct.


• Compare the daily spec sheet for product running (issued by QA) to Production Schedule (issued by Scheduling Manager) to ensure accuracy of product being filled at beginning of shift.


• Dump caps from boxes into hopper.  Verify caps are correct by comparing information on cap box to spec sheet (issued by QA).  Complete Cap/Closure Usage Log per each box of caps dumped.   (This step only applicable when running products in glass.)


• Verify temperatures, weights and volumes of product are in specification throughout the shift and document measurements on required Check Sheets (for glass and/or cans).  Also complete CCP Inspection Report throughout shift.    Also complete 15 Minute Glass Inspection Sheet and Downtime Report as necessary.


• Submit all Reports and Check Sheets to Lead Person/Supervisor at the end of the shift.


• At end of the shift spray filler bowl out and clean up trash in area.


• Communicate with Filler Operator stepping in at shift change with any issues experienced throughout the shift (as applicable).


• Work safe and report all unsafe working conditions and/or unsafe acts to supervisor immediately.


• Follow all safety rules and policies and GMP rules.


• All other duties as required.

Ability to Identify Problems and Respond Accordingly

Possess basic math skills

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

Ability to bend, squat, push and pull.
