Position Summary

Responsible for supporting the Central Function Pillar by managing the reporting and analysis of all Central Function actual, forecast and budget results. Serves as a business partner to provide financial support in strategic initiatives undertaken by the Central Function (includes but is not limited to Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Compliance, Other G&A).

Key Responsibilities


  • Developing and maintaining the Central Function Pillar reporting that enables Central Function EVPs, SVPs and VPs in the execution of their responsibilities, managing the business and making key business decisions
  • Creating forecast and budgets for all Central Functions by partnering with Functional leaders
  • Maintaining financial oversight and reporting of Central Function activities; supports Accounting and Control in any activities related to Central Function Pillar per the Corporate Controller's requirements
  • Serving as the Financial business partner supporting all Corporate/Central Function strategic initiatives and analyses
  • Developing financial models to bolster analysis and provide advice to ensure alignment with overall company targets
  • Conducting ad hoc financial analysis as required
  • Acting as benefits management lead for Financial Transformation activities which includes the setup of a benefits tracking mechanism and monitoring and reporting on the benefits realization
  • Tracking and reporting of global restructuring efforts (i.e., RRCs, Wave, etc.)
  • Identifying and supporting cost reduction projects (i.e., Wave)

Key Skills & Experiences


  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in accounting or related field from a four-year college or university
  • MBA degree is a significant enhancement
  • Current CPA designation is a significant enhancement
  • 10+ years of relevant work in the accounting or finance field
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Experience with transaction & reporting systems including, but not limited to Hyperion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects at once, work under pressure, apply judgment and ask for aid in prioritizing as applicable
  • Up to approximately 10-15% travel .
