The Role You Will Play:

• Development and ownership of the financial aspects of M&A such as supervising the modeling/business case development, supporting preparation of strategic fit and board approval documents, coordination of finance due diligence, supporting accounting with development of purchase price accounting and intangible valuations, etc. M&A includes divestitures.
• Establish strong processes for financial business case development, review and approval. This includes M&A and any other strategic projects as determined by the management committee.
• Partners closely with Business Development & Strategy team to develop business cases and supervise financial model development for strategic projects
• Lead strategic corporate finance analyses prepared for board of directors and investors
• Lead strategic pricing modeling for equipment sales
• Lead elements of enterprise modernization and financial transformation.
• Grow and mentor team to foster a strong sense of culture and professional development

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline required
• MBA or other Advanced Degree preferred

Certifications/Licensing:

• CPA, CMA or CFA preferred but not required

Years and Type of Experience:

• 8+ years of Accounting, Finance or Commerce Experience
• 3 years of which must have been in a leadership role with M&A responsibility and direct reports

• Ability to direct and influence resources without direct reporting relationships
• Ability to connect with both Internal and External business partners and collaborate effectively to deliver on objectives.

• Ability to distill extensive amounts of data into an executive level story to influence business decisions
• Works well with ambiguity and able to independently problem solve
