The Department of Pathology is seeking a qualified candidate for the Research Specialist position. The incumbent will be trained and help in execution of experiments related to stem cell culture, organoids generation, PCR, molecular cloning and tissue staining in the lab as well as mouse related models of injury. In addition to experimental work, the incumbent will help in daily operation of lab, organization associated with lab operation and will also be trained and help in discussions, presentations, writing methods, analysis of data and participate with PI and graduate students in scientific discussions relevant to the project. It is expected that the candidate provides weekly report of performance and progress notes with the projects associated with the candidate.B.S. in biology or related field. Previous experience with cell culture and molecular biology techniques are essential.
