In addition to its strong competency in financial planning and analysis, the HPE free cash flow organization works with internal business partners to drive operational initiatives to accelerate cash collection, to optimize inventory levels, and to promote payment practices that maximize the amount of cash that the company can invest to drive shareholder value.  This team offers the unique opportunity to understand how operational levers that impact the income statement and the balance sheet intersect to generate cash for the company.

Key deliverables

  • Creation and maintenance of complex financial models that integrate income statement and balance sheet data to generate both short-term and multi-year free cash flow outlooks for HPE and individual business units.

  • Development and execution of current and long-term planning cycle, including cross-business and cross-functional communication of deadlines and deliverables.

  • Creation of executive-level presentations that summarize current and long-term free cash flow plans—including quarter and year-over-year compares, key dependencies, and risks and opportunities—for the CFO, the HPE board of directors, and for external security analyst meetings.

  • Engagement with senior business leaders to develop plans and to drive the organizational alignment that is necessary for HPE to achieve required FCF commitments.
