Mazars in Fort Washington Pennsylvania is recruiting an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Entrepreneurial Business Services Group (EBS). As a Senior Accountant in this practice, you will be responsible for providing the highest levels of client service excellence while working with other professionals and interacting with valued clients. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns as well as assisting on audits, reviews, and compilations of financial statement engagements. The Entrepreneurial Business Services Group offers customized services and solutions that address the financial needs of high net worth individuals and their families as well as of closely-held businesses.

Professional Responsibilities :
Gaining a thorough understanding of Mazars' approach, methodology and tools
Proficient knowledge of income tax planning, compliance and consulting to individuals and closely-held businesses in various industries
Responsible for engagement planning
Preparing high net worth individuals' tax returns and business returns
Provide compilation and review services and preparing financial statements for a variety of industries
Developing and maintaining relationships with client personnel to obtain an understanding of operations, processes and functions
Provide outsourcing functions as necessary (G/L, A/P, A/R, payroll, sales tax, QuickBooks) as well as accounting assistance and oversight to closely-held businesses
Producing accurate and timely work-papers and documents
Being an active member of our Entrepreneurial Business Services Group contributing to its growth and success
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA a plus
3 to 5 years + of tax public accounting experience
Experience with QuickBooks
Proven experience providing a proactive, personalized service to clients
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a client service focus
Ability to build and maintain relationships with all levels of the firm and client personnel
Highly detail-orientated, organized and proactive
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, ProSystem FX, Engagement
