The Facilities Associate will execute quality maintenance and housekeeping initiatives for the RH Delight Center. They will work in collaboration and partnership with the RH Delight Team to ensure all maintenance needs are met and are held to RH standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and coordinate activities of the facility maintenance and housekeeping department to ensure optimum service level maintenance is provided
  • Hands-on experience with preventative maintenance and repair of material handling equipment
  • Oversee repairs and upkeep of all areas of the facility including building, grounds, systems, and storage structures / devices
  • Executes equipment preventive maintenance, including operating forklifts, fans, doors, and dock plates
  • Minimizes downtime by managing the prioritization and scheduling of work orders as well as preventive, reactive, and predictive maintenance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Store Maintenance team and Vendors
  • Maintains a safe work environment by observing & enforcing OSHA, Food Safety, & HAZMAT requirements
  • Ensures quick response to downtime situations affecting production
  • Ensures equipment that is unsafe to use is taken out of service until repairs can be made
  • Monitors level of service with work orders and ensures work completed as required to meet the needs of the operation
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts
  • Any other responsibilities deemed essential

REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in maintenance and facilities
  • Ability to build and foster relationships
  • Creative problem solving and innovative approaches to complex problems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on process improvement, installing and maintaining best practices in the operational areas
  • Identify and present opportunities for process improvement
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly Organized
  • Excellent communication (oral, written and listening) and project management skills
  • Execute decisions and manage multiple processes in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with MS Office suite, especially Excel
  • In-depth experience with advanced material handling equipment
  • Knowledge with equipment preventative maintenance

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift and mobilize small to medium items up to 30 lbs. while utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques
  • Ability to maneuver effectively around gallery floor, stock room and office
  • Position entails prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, kneeling, squatting, bending and climbing
