Wholesale Payment - Trust, Safety & Compliance Technology - Data/Metrics Analytics Solutions Lead, VP

Wholesale Payment - Trust, Safety and Compliance Technology is looking for a Data/Metrics Analytics Lead will work with product owners, engineering leads, data science leads, visualization leads to analyze, define content and build analytics products for the team and stakeholders.

• Define and deliver consultative support for analytics insights based on large volumes of data
• Develop strategy for utilization of external data sources to improve insights and analytical conclusions
• Improve the data quality of current reporting to support the delivery of insights across all analytics platforms globally
• Develop ways in which we can use our data assets for clients to improve their experience
• Define content and build analytics to enable direct delivery mechanisms, value added tools / services for clients
• Definition and execution of new business models / services based on data

Core competencies
• Data analytics skills (e.g. coding in SQL, Python, etc.), ability to work with visualization tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Affinity for technology, product management, and end-to-end product development
• Exceptional analytical acumen and demonstrated ability to advance thinking to "best in class", with a digital mindset
• Ability to concisely articulate complex information in both verbal and written form
• Strong interpersonal skills to both partner with and influence stakeholders
• Proven record of innovation and thoughtful risk-taking
• Appreciation for controlled execution and applicable regulatory requirements

Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree, Masters/MBA strongly preferred
• 7+ years experience in related data discipline; 3+ years of experience in the payments industry, technology-enabled industries, and/or at a top tier management consulting firm
• Proven experience with emerging technologies related to insights (e.g., Tableau)
• Synthesizing data sets to streamlined, clear and actionable messages
• Experience with creating business initiatives and communicating ideas with a digitally focused and data driven mindset
• Ability for rapid prototyping (in Excel, Tableau); understanding of SQL, R, and/or Python is a benefit but not a must
• Ability to design, orchestrate and implement analytics dashboards and solutions
• Experience with financial crime, payment systems, regulatory reporting a plus
