Job Description:

he Catalyst Program Manager is a key member of the Catalyst Wholesale Services organization. The Program Manager is accountable for the management of Wholesale Services program from initiation to closure. This individual will be responsible to directly manage multiple objectives in the development of a new Wholesales Services program of varying complexity to support Wholesales applications. This position is responsible to organize, direct, manage, control and execute the activities of the Wholesales Services program in order to ensure that the project completed on time, within the approved budget, and within stated strategic and business goals and objectives. The Program Manager partners closely with the Product Executive to ensure successful execution and consistent communication of program progress, deliverables and alignment to Key Performance Indicators (KPI's). Clear communication, transparent reporting, and effective presentation building are vital elements of the position. The successful candidate will excel at creative thinking and problem solving; be self-motivated, confident and organized. Project Catalyst is a major investment aligned to the Commercial Bank's transformation agenda. The goal of this effort is to deliver a best in class experience for our customers and our employees.

Responsibilities

• Support the development of program charters, resource tracking, execution plans to support execution of assigned projects

• Ensure all programmatic activities and statuses are thoroughly documented and aligned with overall programmatic updates

• Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure development and executed solutions are aligned to the goals of the stakeholders

• Develop presentations and organize information and data in support of project tracking

• Be able to work independently in a complex and decentralized environment

• Interfaces directly with program managers across Catalyst program to ensure consistency and transparency on key deliverables

• Be accountable for monitoring the details and status of projects, prepare standard and ad hoc updates and reports

• Identify and resolve project issues, effectively escalate decisions and issues, and establish quality measures and standards that ensure milestones are met, projects are successfully executed, and stated benefits are realized

• Be responsible for developing business knowledge and using that information to support/enhance the quality of all project phases

• Direct activities to ensure quality and timeliness of project completion

• Facilitate meetings and working sessions as needed

• Conduct business analysis, process mapping, and process re-engineering where needed

• Identify project risks and resolves project conflicts with affected management

• Effectively manage project scope / changes, functioning as an escalation point to ensure impact is communicated and addressed

• Work with Agile teams and Scrum Masters on sprint planning, change readiness, and other areas of Agile process

• Track key KPIs are tracked and reported back to stakeholders, pre, during & post-delivery.

• Monitoring progress, identifying and tracking issues and driving their resolution, and adjusting resources and priorities accordingly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree Required

• Requires 5+ years project management experience

• 5+ years of Commercial Banking and/or Investment banking experience

• Experience in delivering projects using Agile Project Methodologies

• Requires experience leading projects independently

• Must have strong Project Management discipline, techniques and planning skills

• Excellent understanding of project life cycles and project methodology

• Demonstrated ability to manage and execute projects of various sizes and complexities

• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Ability to be flexible, follow tight deadlines, organize and prioritize work

• Strong oral and written communication skills

• Strong consulting and relationship building skills

• Strong analytical, process and detail-oriented skills

• Solid issues management and resolution skills

• Ability to effectively escalate and resolve issues

• Mastery of MS Office products and the use of SharePoint as a project repository

Preferred

• Experience with financial risk and regulatory controls

• Experience with Salesforce.com

• Experience managing projects with Jira and Confluence

• Experience in Agile methodology

• Demonstrated success in program management of a technical product
