Job Description:

The GS Technical Security team consists of a dynamic group of security professionals who support and enable the physical security of our retail and corporate environments through access control, intrusion detection, alarm monitoring, and video surveillance technologies. They are responsible for the overall design, installation, configuration, maintenance, and administration of integrated security systems that protect the firm across the logical & physical threat spectrum. Technical security professionals work closely with key stakeholders across Global Security, Global Real Estate, Chase, and multiple groups across our Global Technology organization.

Scope:

As the Video Technical Security Senior Specialist, you will be a key figure in the GS Technical Security team and will report directly to the Phoenix Technical Security Operations Lead. You will be responsible for support related efforts for the firm's video, access and intrusion systems. You will be responsible for supporting a multi-year transformational initiative to uplift key components of the enterprise video systems. This will include facilitating the introduction and implementation of cutting edge solutions leveraging AI, data analytics, and other key video related technologies. You will also provide expertise in managing complex problems throughout the portfolio, including manufacturer escalations and providing peer expertise to your colleagues. As the Technical Security Senior Specialist, you will work closely with both GS and Corporate Technology to support business initiatives, support the product roadmap for the physical security systems from a validation, deployment, and maintenance perspective, provide business as usual support services, test user stories for new applications, and validate test acceptance criteria against the physical security systems.

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:


  • An ability to provide ongoing project management expertise in delivering multiple multi-year, multi-million dollar projects that further the technical advancement of JPMC video technologies.
  • An ability to support the programming and maintenance team efforts that ensure all components of the physical security systems across the firm's environments meet business as usual needs, and support related security project efforts.
  • Working with internal GS teams to ensure the timely completion of security project related tasks such as programming and system validation.
  • Working with internal and external staff and vendors to escalate and manage service tickets to repair physical security system issues.
  • Support the vision and assist in the direction of the product and solution roadmaps, validating acceptance criteria related to service, maintenance, and programming efforts by providing SME feedback as needed.
  • Support technical product engineering solutions by providing service and maintenance related expertise on ongoing global projects.
  • Assisting in creation, support, and validation of technical requirements documentation with use cases, processes, technologies, user experiences from the position of support lead.
  • Provide input and add to the product backlog to include prioritization of features and functionality for development in relation to programming and maintenance needs.
  • Develop and execute on annual evergreen system health checks.
  • Design and implementing a consolidated internal ticketing system for use in relation to current service call ticket system.
  • Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) and change management of requirements related to platform changes.
  • Lead multiple complex work streams, platform enhancements, bug-fixes and product delivery related to programming and system maintenance.
  • Build relationships with business partners and key stakeholders across the firm to cultivate program support and ensure feature delivery is accretive to our business partners and end-users.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field with 8-10 years relevant experience or Master's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems and all components (both hardware and software) required and non-negotiable.
  • Proven track record in service management or maintaining enterprise video solution strongly preferred.
  • Experience implementing the integration of CCTV with other physical security technologies strongly preferred.
  • Experience managing configuration and configuration requirements for enterprise physical security system strongly preferred.
  • Experience implementing system health data analytics strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of IT infrastructure and network architecture and design preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
  • Communication & partnership with engineers, developers, business stakeholders, user groups.
  • High degree of comfort in fast-paced dynamic / ambiguous environment.
