Position Summary

Business Banking (BB) supports 2.4 million+ clients across the U.S. including 200,000+ clients that are aligned with one of our dedicated Business Relationship Managers. Business Banking serves the Retail banking clients with revenues up to $20 million. Business Banking partners with other JPMorgan Chase line of businesses to provide our customers with a wide suite of products such as Merchant Card processing (Commerce Solutions), Cash Management (Treasury), Credit Originations and Digital.

The Business Banking Deposits Product team is seeking an Executive Director of Business Transformation to join the organization to support Technology Strategy & Business Transformation in order to drive modernization of core systems, product innovation, and process re-design needed to support long-term growth.

The candidate will ensure that Business Banking client needs are understood, and that technology is implemented to address the expectations of the business. In this role, you will work with Business Systems Analysts and Architects to develop an understanding of the scope and feasibility of technical solutions. In turn, you will then partner across a broad number of teams including Product, Servicing / Operations, Sales, Branch, Finance to redesign / enhance products and client experiences to best-in-class standards that lead to Deposit growth and market share gains.

This dynamic opportunity will work in a highly collaborative environment with an ability to influence the future products and services that Chase offers across complex solution sets and platforms in support of JPMorgan Chase's mission to be the easiest bank for businesses to do business with.

Responsibilities


  • Leverage Business strategy and knowledge of platform capabilities to inform the direction for product & end-2-end client experiences
  • Redesign business models, operating procedures, and capabilities to support Business Banking's growth strategy
  • Participate with Technology solution decisions with architects and product teams to ensure prudent technical designs, release deployments, and strong testing protocols
  • Guide product and feature enhancements through the necessary governance and compliance functions to gain approval to move towards the general availability release
  • Collaborate with the program management office for program status, milestones, tasks, budgets
  • Work with 3rd party vendors/ partners to enhance both client facing and backend platform capabilities

Qualifications


  • 10+ years of applicable business experience with demonstrated experience in operations improvement, business process reengineering, IT transformation, and product development roles in financial services
  • Strong preference to candidates with 5+ years of tactical Management Consulting experience
  • Experience leading Agile/Scrum projects in the Technology space
  • Experience working with business application owners and development teams to document business requirements and lead scope definition
  • Ability to prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong relationships with business partners
  • Exceptional communications and presentation skills across multiple audiences at senior levels
  • Strong financial and business acumen with a strong bias towards practical execution
  • An intellectual curiosity surrounding new technologies and the competitive environment
  • Scrappy, versatile personality type with high resiliency and a drive for success and a willingness to pitch in wherever necessary to get the job done
  • MBA required, strong preference for bachelor's degree with a technical discipline such as Software/Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance
