Obtain end-to-end understanding of assigned accounts, including surrounding operations impacting the account, areas generating GL entries to the account, system interfaces, and transaction flow of originating and clearing entries.
Research and resolve complex outstanding reconciling items/breaks.
Communicate with internal business partners to facilitate resolution of outstanding items.
Identify and escalate problem items, trends, and exceptions to clearing standards on assigned accounts to business partners and management.
Complete cross-training in order to provide backup for other reconcilers.
Participate as needed in project activity and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as assigned.
Ensure adherence to Corporate Accounting and departmental policies and procedures.
