Communications Manager - Executive Communications (CCB Operations)

We're looking for a talented communications pro to develop and execute internal and executive communications strategies for Chase's Consumer & Community Banking Operations group. CCB Operations is a global business unit that supports Chase customers with everything from checking accounts, debit and credit cards, to car loans and investment products as well as loans and products for small businesses. The group also helps customers by preventing fraud, disputing charges, and providing solutions to customers facing challenging financial situations.

As part of the CCB Operations Communications team, you'll provide sound counsel to executive clients, create and deliver engagement plans that drive business results, and develop communications strategies that bring Operations to life. And you'll do it all as part of a group who thinks team-first in a fast-paced, high-profile environment.

The Vice President/Communications Manager (603) role is based in Columbus, Ohio; Wilmington, Delaware; or Plano, Texas. Some domestic travel is required.

Major Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement strategic communications plans
  • Support multiple executives with all communications needs, including executive messages, site visits, presentations, town halls and other events
  • Provide sound communications counsel to senior executives and other key internal stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver clear and concise audience-first communications through periods of rapid change
  • Identify key metrics to measure and report on the effectiveness of communications strategies
  • Find, tell and share great stories
  • Contribute fresh ideas on reaching employees through modern communications channels and tactics
  • Lead special projects as assigned
  • Be a great partner and teammate


  • At least 7+ years' professional communications and/or marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations or related degree
  • Basic understanding of the financial services industry
  • Expertise in PowerPoint, Word, Excel a must; Additional software skills (e.g., Photoshop, HTML, Adobe Creative Suite) a plus
  • Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple assignments, stringent deadlines and changing priorities
  • Experience working cross-functionally and collaborating with team members across business and staff areas at all levels to achieve goals
  • Team player who willingly collaborates and contributes on both the strategic and the tactical
