The candidate must have the ability to partner with stakeholders inside and outside of the department to understand their needs and design and develop robust analytic data solutions that meet and/or exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess data analysis skills, data visualization skills, an understanding of data science, and a commitment to producing high quality results.

Customer Data Analytics & Engineering Analysts within the CCB Customer Data Products organization are responsible for extracting value and delivering on our strategic goals through the use of data analytics and visualization. Key responsibilities include:


  • Leverage big data assets to develop insights and quantify opportunities in line with our strategic initiatives
  • Extract and quantify data-informed insights to help define opportunities and shape strategic Customer Data Domain initiatives (Enhance Customer Identity Mgmt, Deliver One Chase Experiences, etc...)
  • Perform advanced root cause analysis to better understand complex issues and anomalies and identify viable data-informed solutions to remediate data quality issues
  • Ensure availability of high quality and usable customer-level data and insights

The candidate must have the ability to partner with stakeholders inside and outside of the department to understand their needs and design and develop robust analytic data solutions that meet and/or exceed customer expectations. Other responsibilities will include the following:


  • Facilitate use case & requirements definition, design, testing, and implementation of new data assets and analytic capabilities that address specific business needs
  • Profile, wrangle, and prepare data from diverse sources to support analytical efforts
  • Conduct business process analysis and identify data needed to support the processes and determine whether the firm's data is fit for use within a given process
  • Conduct research and development with emerging technologies, determine their applicability to business use cases, document & communicate their recommended use in the firm

Educational Requirement

The candidate must have an educational background in Data Analytics, Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related discipline. In addition, the candidate must have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience or a Master's degree with 3 years of experience.

Required Skills


  • 4 years of experience as a key participant on data analysis and data engineering related efforts
  • Excellent command of the SQL language
  • Experience working with big data sets using Hadoop-related technologies & their applications
  • Ability to produce data visualization deliverables geared towards an executive-level audience
  • Advanced analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Technical understanding of common RDBMS systems; (e.g. Teradata, Oracle

  • Preferred Skills
  • Strong knowledge of Python
  • In-depth knowledge of consumer and wholesale banking data
  • Knowledge of the consumer lending lifecycle, including loan origination, sale/servicing, default management/loss mitigation
