DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Develop, test, and maintain data and analytics needed for risk and finance models. Understand and execute SAS quantitative models. Implement logics from SAS and convert SAS models to Python and Pyspark to run in a Hadoop distributed environment. Analyze model data for accuracy after consuming data for data access layer. Improve performance of model's efficiency, space utilization, and proper controls. Conduct integrated, automatic unit testing of code logics and regression testing. Contribute to the group's knowledge base by finding new and valuable ways to approach analytical problems. Create and maintain technical documents.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Senior Associate, Data Analyst, Database Research Analyst, Data Support Manager, or closely related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Master's degree plus two (2) years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills: SAS; SQL; and Quantitative Modeling.
