The Position:
The Maintenance Technician will report directly to the Manufacturing Engineer. The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, ability to diagnose, trouble shoot, and determine root cause of malfunctions. Responsible for repairs and facility maintenance. This includes electrical, mechanical and hydraulic components of production machines and equipment such as metal fabricating machine tools, material handling systems, and automated lubrication system by performing the following duties

Requirements:

• 3 + years of experience in a similar role.

• Preferred experience with automated assembly systems.


• Experience with fabrication processes and equipment: cutting - lasers, plasma, water jet equipment, forming - press brakes or stamping.


• Experiences with welding processes (arc or MIG) and equipment.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.


• A favorable background screening, Drug Screening, and proof of work authorization in the United States is required for employment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the start up of the Central Fabrication unit by providing support for the instillation of robotic welding and automatic systems.


• Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problem or repair machine.


• Diagnoses, trouble shoots, and tests machines and equipment to determine root cause of malfunctions.


• Dismantles machines and equipment to gain access to problem area.
