The Quality Inspector is responsible for executing quality plans for process start up, in process, end of run, and final quality inspections. The Quality Inspector will indicate inspection status, maintain product traceability and nonconforming material control, and support other Quality System activities as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform in-process visual inspection, dimensional inspection, and non-destructive testing of molding products.


• Identify quality and compliance issues related to product, processes, and records.


• Initiate holds and nonconformance records for affected products.


• Produce accurate records of completed inspections, as well as accurate descriptions of nonconformance issues when required.


• Observe operation of mold machines and engaged technical staff as needed.


• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.


• Knowledge of inspection equipment such as caliper, micrometer, CMM, vision systems, etc.


• Good manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools.


• Good visual ability with high attention to detail.


• Basic math and computer skills.


• Ability to lift up to 55 pounds.

Schedule:

Thursday (12:00am - 6:00am) & Friday - Sunday (6:00pm - 6:00am) + $5/hr. Shift Differential.
