Your role:        HVAC Helper (Commercial/Industrial)

Your purpose:

To operate and maintain HVAC systems, including heating, cooling and ventilation systems with the guidance of a trained technician.

Your responsibilities:

• Perform basic and routine maintenance and simple repairs as directed by the HVAC Technician


• Assist with troubleshooting major system issues


• Familiarity with motors, electrical systems, basic wiring and plumbing


• Familiarity with all tools and equipment necessary for HAVC work


• Ensure all tools and gauges are in working order


• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Your experience and skills:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred but will consider 5+ years of experience with HVAC certification


• Valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record


• The ability to work in the elements including heat, cold and wet conditions


• The ability to work in tight/confined spaces


• Physically able to lift 50lbs unassisted


• The ability to work at heights consistent with multistory buildings


• The ability to perform basic physical functions including crouching, climbing, kneeling, walking, twisting turning, cranking and other related repetitive movements


• A strong mechanical aptitude


• Good communication skills including verbal and written


• Basic mathematic skills
