Our Notes, Certificates and Warrants are purchased by clients in locations across the globe. The role provides the opportunity to gain invaluable insights into Investment Bank Middle Office operations and related systems across a wide range of asset classes, with unique exposure to Front, Middle and Back Office teams, other internal stakeholders (Treasury, Legal, Compliance & Technology) and external agents. It also presents an excellent platform for leveraging the knowledge and expertise gained through related roles such in marketing support, trader assistant, trade support, or projects, among others.
Management responsibility for the day to day running of a team of 5 associates
Perform tasks related to the internal performance review process for the individuals within the team, managing career progression, recruitment, attrition and succession planning
Oversight and understanding of all KPIs and exceptions to ensure timely resolution and escalation
Initiate and drive change, within all areas of the business
Work on new business and technological initiatives
Building upon, and maintaining key relationships with multiple stakeholders (Sales, trading, legal, compliance, settlements)
Work with other regional leads across the globe to promote consistency and best practices
Skill Set Required
Previous experience of managing people
Excellent knowledge of Structured Products
Understanding of the trade lifecyle - from execution to settlement and the processes that occur throughout this cycle
Ability to identify and drive change,
Excellent attention to detail
Good understanding of downstream impact of actions undertaken in MO, particularly the requirement for strong and timely controls around trade capture through to settlement.
Time Management and ability to prioritize effectively
A team player, capable of building effective business relationships across the organization
Pro-active approach to problem solving; root cause analysis, identifying solutions and taking ownership of these through to resolution
