Morgan Securities and You Invest - our digital investing platform. The combined business has ~$400 billion in Assets under Management and ~4,000 advisors who work out of 3,500 branches and 21 offices.

Job Description

We are in search of a proven, performance marketer responsible for driving our retirement marketing strategy and executing against it. As a leader in Wealth Management, we want to drive awareness, consideration and conversion of all our retirement products and services. We're aiming for high-quality customer growth for the wealth management business through lead generation, customer acquisition, deepening initiatives and retention campaigns.

The Wealth Management business is a focused area of growth for the firm, and this role will be responsible for delivering growth in retirement product awareness, consideration and conversion across all USWM lines of business. In addition, this role will partner with our digital product owners to act as the voice of the customer as new digital products and services are developed.

This Vice President will be responsible for developing, implementing, analyzing and reporting on marketing strategies to drive awareness, acquisition, engagement and retention of clients with a focus on their retirement goals and needs. This includes working across the WM marketing organization to both design and influence marketing plans, collaborating with product owners to inform retirement product and service development and test plans across teams to maximize learnings, and working with our Brand teams to elevate retirement messaging in our paid media efforts.

The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in direct-to-consumer marketing, demonstrated innovation in creating new digital marketing strategies and tactics, strong execution skill and strong collaboration and relationship-building skills.

The role will require close partnership and integration with segment marketing teams, data & analytics, finance, channel/product owners and the Consumer Bank, Card growth teams, and retirement digital product owners. This is a highly-visible strategic role with significant interaction with cross-functional teams and leaders across the firm.

The role will report to the Head of Wealth Management Acquisition and Aspiring Affluent Marketing.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy across the spectrum of retirement products and services for USWM (identify the right touch points, messages and cadence by customer/segment)
  • Own campaigns from end to end - manage targeting and segmentation, messaging, content and design, planning, build, execution and reporting
  • Collaborate and influence campaigns and testing plans across the USWM Marketing organization
  • Manage a continuous, meticulously planned and documented testing plan leveraging customer insights
  • Establish metrics, track results, and report to senior leadership
  • Support digital product development
  • Drive data-driven testing discipline and expansion / innovation
  • Track and review campaign performance and generate recommendations based on learnings, established best practices and competitive landscape
  • Act as a subject-matter expert with segment marketing teams, product partners and on cross functional projects
  • Develop & maintain deep understanding of the WM business, customer behaviors and competitive product landscape to understand best practices in the offer, lead generation & direct response marketing discipline
  • Manage multiple initiatives to completion under concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Coordinate and execute enhancements and tests with internal Chase teams and third party vendors
  • Work with marketing execution partners on the development of creative assets and a robust creative testing roadmap
  • Be a customer advocate - champion consistent and seamless user experiences across all assets and channels

Additional Requirements:

  • 4 year degree in Marketing, Advertising, Analytics, or Finance
  • 8+ years of marketing experience with expertise in digital conversion strategies and innovation
  • Financial services industry experience a plus
  • Excels at managing multiple initiatives simultaneously within tight deadlines
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and planning skills, with the ability identify and recommend new opportunities is desired
  • Experience in measurement of media channels to understand efficacy and determine incrementality
  • Working knowledge of content management tools and mobile technology
  • Working knowledge of web analytics and ad serving engines
  • Skilled and comfortable at working in a highly matrixed organization
  • Experienced manager of marketing budgets, forecasts, and expected returns
  • Comfortable with continuously changing priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power Point
