Reporting to the Digital Development Manager, the Digital Learning Developer is a multi-faceted digital development professional.
This role will partner with Talent Professionals and representatives in the business to design and develop digital solutions that aid in improving employee performance and/or design/develop tools that enhance the ability for others to design/develop effective digital learning assets.
Outputs will include digital assets like courseware, digital activities, and digital development tools. Role will also require the ability to support multi-media projects such as graphics, audio outputs, and video content.
The role is an individual contributor that will be engaged in regular collaboration with other creative professionals (animators, graphic designers, audio designers, etc.) as part of the Creative Services team.
Duties:
Design creative and innovative interactive digital, performance-based leadership and management solutions
Develops digital assets using java that improve the quality and effectiveness of content
Develops tools and widgets that improve the developer experience around creating of effective digital content
Designs graphics, illustrations and other visuals to represent complex content, facts, processes and procedures
Designs and creates multimedia material (such as video, audio and interactive presentations) for websites and company Intranet
Partners with colleagues and key stakeholders to understand project requirements and desired outcome
Presenting multi-media learning strategies and initiatives to mid-level and senior LOB clients
Mentors other Creative Professionals and Learning Developers
Consistently keeps projects on time and as defined with little interaction from management
Research and evaluate new and emerging technologies and approaches for potential application within Chase/projects
Knowledge of web-based mobile design/development process and practices and the ability to apply them to real world situations
Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent work experience as a developer in Computer Sciences, Instructional Technologies, Learning Experience Design or related field
5+ years experience in designing and developing digital deliverables (courses, web content, software) with a preference for learning content/tools
5+ years experience in hand coding solutions using JavaScript and similar languages
Proven ability to work effectively on multiple projects in a fast moving, deadline and project driven environment
Excellent organization, interpersonal, and communication skills
Proven track record of designing and implementing highly complex, multifaceted initiatives
Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a member of high performance teams
Experience with audio/visual accessibility, ADA, WCAG (preferred)
Expert proficiency in the following :
JavaScript or similar HTML development software
UX/UI design
Prototyping
Comfort in working in an AGILE environment; knowledge of Jira platforms preferred
Familiarity with SCORM preferred
Ability to design and develop user-centered products
Currently team leverages combination of (Phaser, Angular, plain JavaScript)
Expert proficiency in the following preferred
Communications for visual delivery
Visual QA
Adobe Photoshop
Adobe Illustrator
Adobe XD
Experience in adult learning and Web-based instruction design methods (preferred)
Experience in learning UX/UI design and methodology
