Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Associate or Junior Vice President level banker to cover MNC across Latin America. This position will report into an Executive Director and will be based in New York.

Core responsibilities of preferred candidate include:


  • New business development and relationship management mainly focused on clients with regional LatAm treasury management
  • Development of forward looking business plans for clients and the maintenance of existing business relationships
  • Conducting comprehensive client analysis to identify business needs that can be met across multiple countries and multiple product areas in Latin America including Wholesale Payments, Debt Capital Markets, Risk Management, and Asset Management.
  • Converting client analysis into concrete solutions.
  • Building and developing coverage of the GCB-selected clients and prospects, working and coordinating with partners such as HQ bankers of the clients, Treasury Services, Merchant Services, Debt Capital Markets, Markets, Asset Management and Investment Bank Client Executives where such coverage exists.
  • Marketing in-scope Investment Banking products (including: traditional credit product, public bonds, private placements, ABS/conduit, FX, rates and commodities) and all non-Investment Banking products (including: Treasury Services, Trade Finance, Commercial Cards, Merchant Services and Investment Management).
  • Role will require travel domestically and internationally to meet clients

Qualifications

Minimum requirements:

• Excellent written and oral communication in English preferred either Spanish and/or Portuguese
• Strong analytical skill set, commercial judgment and influencing abilities
• Strong interpersonal and client prospecting skills and ability to lead and work in a cross-cultural team environment.
• Bachelor's degree
• Must pass SIE, Series 79 and 63 exams prior to joining

Preferred experience, knowledge or skills:
• Knowledge of J.P. Morgan's processes and products is a plus
• Experience selling or working with a broad range of corporate banking products
