NYC - 1211 Ave of the Americas
The Wall Street Journal is seeking an experienced artist to join the team that creates the news organization's iconic original stipple drawings.
The drawings are requested from sections across the newsroom and are based on reference photos that are sourced by our editors. We are looking for a graphic illustrator who can work both independently and under supervision to develop and execute these illustrations and portraits on a timely basis and according to the Journal's styles and formats. You may be required to submit sketches and final art for approval from art directors and editors. And you must be familiar with the equipment used to generate illustrations, including the software needed to upload final illustrations.
