Function: Quality Engineering
Title: Part-Time Student-Product Engineering-Waterloo IA- 70600

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Company's regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.

Your Responsibilities


  • This is a part time student position supporting Reliability
  • Warranty warehouse work list updates, warranty claim changes, part coding
  • Other ad hoc report requests
  • Maintaining and updating automated reports
  • Implementing opportunities for report automation
  • Development of Excel templates and reporting tools
  • Creating and distributing weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
  • Attending and assisting in recurring meetings

What Skills You Need


  • Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in MIS, CIS, Mathematics, Physics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering or a related field
  • Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university (Hawkeye, UNI, Wartburg, etc)
  • If currently attending a community college must plan to pursue a 4-year degree
  • Graduation date of May 2023 or later
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
  • Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
  • 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
  • 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester
  • Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Self-driven
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
