As part of Audit Technology, we are looking for an innovative and passionate developement lead to solve challenging business problems using native cloud micro services, rich client micro frontends with great user experience. We are building the next generation of applications through a multi-year technology transformation that will automate the audit flows into best in class technologies and frameworks, delivering an improved user experience. We are looking for hands on Java and frontend developers who will be responsible for design and development of business critical enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and Angular frameworks. The individual will play a critical role in every phase of the SDLC and is expected to communicate and liaison with the stakeholders and teams across business and technology groups, coach and mentor junior engineers on design techniques, engineering process, coding standards, and testing practices. The candidate should demonstrate problem solving skills to be able to solve challenges, meet deadlines and deliver high quality code that meets JPMC standards. The successful candidate will leverage technical leadership and ability to collaborate across high performing teams, in order to deliver practical solutions with business value, aligned to our target state technology stack. In addition to good exposure to cutting edge technologies like building Cloud native applications using Spring Boot and Spring frameworks, the position will also provide an opportunity to adopt Agile methodologies as well as tools for Continuous integration and delivery. \"• Research new technologies, create proof of concepts, identify best practices, adapt quickly and provide technical guidance to other team members

Key Responsibilities
• Manage scope, timelines and prioritization of Technology projects, working closely with business stakeholders and product owners
• Perform Architectural reviews and Code-reviews
• Ensure focus on excellent user experience and system performance
• Contribute towards technical business analysis to enrich the requirements produced by business and product owners
• Design, build, deploy and maintain software applications for Internal Audit functions in close collaboration with our business/customer stakeholders

Core Skills/Qualifications
• BS/BA university degree, specialized training or equivalent work experience
• 8+ years of enterprise application development experience
• 5+ years with strong core Java/J2EE server side hands on development experience including JPA
• Excellent knowledge of Java technologies including core Java, Spring (Sprint Boot) and application containers.
• Experience with JDBC/JPA frameworks like Spring and Hibernate
• Knowledge on cloud-based application architectures, micro services, and distributed systems
• Service development experience including REST/SOAP web services.
• Familiarity with JS frameworks/libraries (e.g. ReactJS, Angular), Javascript, HTML 5, CSS etc.
• Automated testing experience, TDD & BDD preferred
• Knowledge of build tools like Maven, source control like Git/Bitbucket with CI/CD.
• Database development skills including SQL, relational data design, stored procedures and database performance tuning
