Wealth Management (WM) Operations supports the JPMorgan Private Bank in JP Morgan's Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) line of business. The Private Bank is the world's premier service provider for ultra and high net worth individuals. Our goal is to help these affluent individuals across the globe optimize their wealth, after taxes and across generations. Wealth Management Operations provides end-to-end support for all aspects of the client experience, working closely with client service, fiduciary, product specialty groups, third party vendors, and other internal groups.

Position Summary

WM Core Services Client Reporting is currently looking to hire a qualified candidate to fill an open Associate Business Analyst / Project Manager role within WM Core Services Client Reporting Team. The Business analyst will be responsible for working with stakeholders to define requirements and coordinating testing for enhancement projects for our Core Accounting System (Omnitrust). Additionally, the selected candidate will also work on current state process analysis and management of projects to enhance system functionality for various systems used in Client Reporting.

Note: This position may require support for application releases on select weekends for production checkouts.

Responsibilities


  • Develop knowledge core accounting system OMNI Trust
  • Elicit, analyze, and validate the business needs of stakeholders
  • Collaborate with project sponsors to determine scope and vision
  • Conduct interviews to gather requirements including workflows and use cases.
  • Translates conceptual requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner that is comprehensible for stakeholders and technology
  • Document requirements in business requirements documents and Jira stories
  • Coordinate and execute UAT for system enhancements
  • Manage and track status of requirements through the project lifecycle redefining as necessary
  • Communicates changes to business requirements to business stakeholders and technology
  • Identify and actively manage key risks and issues impacting assigned projects
  • The selected individual may be asked to assist with other tasks/projects at management discretion

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of business analysis / project management experience delivering technology or business solutions
  • Proficiency in design thinking and agile methodologies
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Team player with excellent organization, business analysis and project management skills
  • Experience working in agile project methodology including writing user stories
  • Adapts to a rapidly changing business and technical environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Advanced computer skills: MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and SharePoint)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability - ability to analyze complex problems/scenarios, identify the root-cause and determine remediation steps
  • Detail-oriented and willing to dig into the details to understand current state and document user stories
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across business and technology
  • Strong work ethic
  • Demonstrated ability to manage to tight delivery timelines and calmness under pressure
  • Knowledge of Private Banking, Omnitrust, Connect applications are a plus
