Job Description:

The Relationship Sales Officer role is an individual contributor role, primarily responsible for developing business from under penetrated clients/prospects. The Relationship Sales Officer is expected to build pipeline and achieve new business sales goals through effective account planning, strong relationships and implementation of sophisticated selling strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities will be to develop new business from clients within a specific industry/segment. The Relationship Sales Officer will be expected to sell products with value to the firm (goal will vary by position) as well as build a strong pipeline. In order to achieve the sales goal, each Relationship Sales Officer is expected to execute a comprehensive selling strategy in conjunction with Product and the primary coverage officers. The role will also require very strong collaboration with client service, operations, technology, risk, credit, legal in order to optimize delivery. The Relationship Sales Officer will also be responsible for actively gaining a thorough understanding of the market, the industry in which the client operates, the client's organizational and operating structure, buying process and business objectives to effectively position JPM and solutions optimally.

Qualifications


  • Strong experience selling cash management products, knowledge of such products (5+ years industry experience)
  • Established network or experience working with High-Growth Technology companies, particularly Fintech companies - preferred
  • Clear command of competitors' products, strategies and value propositions
  • Proficiency in identifying and exploiting supplemental sales opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to position and close new business
  • Ability to assist in the design, sale and delivery of value-added services
  • Competence in assessing new opportunities/prospecting, contacting key decision makers
  • Strong account planning and demonstrated execution
  • Comprehension of customer's industries, business needs and potential solutions
  • Demonstrated leader through the ability to motivate others and provide a strategic vision
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills
  • Strong ability to influence and negotiation skills
