DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Work for GWM technology, developing and supporting deployments of Connect Data Platform Services in North America Party and Account space. Responsible for delivery of critical production fixes for Mosaic and Tessera application, critical for account data for PB Workstation, Connect Platform and various regulatory applications like KYC, Client Onboarding, Account Opening, Tax Maintenance and JP Morgan Securities. Engage with various Client Services Groups, Front Office Teams, Business Group Owners in ASIA, EMEA and NORTH AMERICA to identify and prioritize fixes for Connect Platform which is a complete asset management tool used for Private Bank customers. Responsible for Infrastructure upgrade, design and deployments for Connect Search and Visibility applications ensuring the applications are onboarded to the Cloud Platform and are highly resilient and scalable. Work closely with Concierge Team, Firmwide Enterprise Teams and Chief Data Office to ensure the data quality issues are addressed and fixed in a timely manner meeting all regulatory deadlines. Work on Strategic Visibility application integration with ROI, newly developed caching framework. Analyze requirements and produce functional specifications and technical designs using financial and technical domain knowledge. Work on fixing defects, renew SSL Certificates and resolving application performance and security issues. Work with Senior Management and CTOs to review the application roadmap and strategy. Work on supporting critical Production incidents and see them through completion by engaging various teams and Rapid Response groups.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education required: Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.

Minimum experience required: 3 years of experience in Java, Database Application Development & Support, or related experience.

Skills required: Must have experience with Java, Tomcat, J2EE, JavaScript, Restful Web services. Must have SQL experience, including writing and debugging stored procedures and scripts. Must have demonstrated knowledge of release management as well as Source Code management techniques / tools for software management - GIT,SVN. Must have experience with performance analysis and tuning across system boundaries. Must have experience with system integration, service and messaging technologies. Must have demonstrated knowledge of global application support with distributed systems. Must have experience with application and Infrastructure monitoring such as UNIX, Dynatrace, Splunk, etc. Must have experience with build tools such as Jenkins / Maven / Nexus. Must have experience with scalable mission-critical systems with high levels of availability. Must have experience with DevOps, support and level 3 incident management. Must have experience with UNIX shell and shell scripting.
