Duties: Participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Install and configure middleware technologies to support internal data warehouse applications. Support application requirements and perform database functions, including database monitoring, risk/control, automation and efficiency, incident/capacity/change management, performance tuning, and data replication. Configure and monitor database partition jobs. Implement encryption to secure data. Follow standard operating model to ensure databases and applications are resilient and robust. Collaborate with database engineering, application development, production support, and other technology teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience as Database Analyst, Programmer/IT Analyst, Technical Support/Service, or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor's degree plus five (5) years of experience in lieu of a Master's degree plus three (3) years of experience.

Skills Required: This position requires three (3) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: SQL; PL/SQL; Oracle Application Server 12c (cloud); Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC); Oracle Performance Tuning; Oracle Data Guard; Golden Gate Replication; and RDBMS patching. This position requires two (2) years of experience with the following skills and technologies: Oracle Backup and Recovery using ZDLRA; and Very Large Database (VLDB) design and administration. This position requires one (1) year of experience with the following skills and technologies: Cassandra database; Cockroach database; DevOps; Cloud technologies (AWS and Kubernetes); Oracle Fusion Middleware; Vormetric encryption; encryption in transit; configuring Single Sign-On (SSO); automation using Shell scripting, Perl, and Python; configuration management; deployment and orchestration tools including Ansible and Terraform; and application and log monitoring tools including Splunk, Dynatrace and Graffana.Chase is a leading financial services firm, helping nearly half of America's households and small businesses achieve their financial goals through a broad range of financial products.
