Dura-Line is seeking a Reel Builder to join our growing Sandersville & Tennille, GA team!

The Position:

Starting Pay: $14.48/hr.

Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-4pm

Work Environment: Fast Paced Manufacturing, Non-Climate Controlled, Variable Temperatures

Job Duties:


  • The Reel Builder is a critical role to build reels according to specifications on orders to keep extrusion lines supplied.

  • You will be responsible in reviewing the production schedule and determining the reels required to maintain production on the shift.

  • Using a forklift, you will bring returned reels to the lines for re-use, mark any returned wood reels that do not meet appearance requirements before they can be used on the extrusion lines, builds & assemble any reels not available from the return reel inventory required to maintain production, grind line scrap from extrusion & complete appropriate paperwork to ensure accurate inventory transactions.

Key Skills for Success:


  • Teamwork, Reliability, Attention to Detail, Effective Communication, Organization, Self-Motivated, and Customer Orientation

  • Manufacturing Experience (Plastics Preferred)

  • Basic math, reading, writing and computer skills

  • Able to manage the physical work required (lift 50 lbs. with or without reasonable assistance, lifting objects overhead, climb ladders, and work in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment).

  • Valid lift truck/forklift/tow motor license preferred or willing to be learned on it.
