This highly important role is a great leadership opportunity in one of the fastest growing parts of the business.  Responsible for establishing the end to end 5G product management for Enterprise.  Works across Network, Product Realization, Consumer and Cybersecurity teams to create foundational 5G position and produces incremental enterprise product requirements to ensure market differentiation and new revenue for the Mobility & IoT portfolio.  Drives innovation by designing proof of concepts and other market research efforts.  Works with vendors to understand market trends, security capabilities and future roadmaps to inform Product strategy.  The scope of responsibility includes product and marketing management for AT&T 5G Security for Business.

AT&T Lead Product Marketing Manager: 

  • Responsible for the success of a product or group of products through development and execution of comprehensive marketing plan. Typically viewed as product owner throughout the life cycle.
  • Evaluates AT&T capabilities and trends in the industry to develop market research plans to inform product strategy.
  • Identifies end-user customer roles, understands and documents their unique needs and expectations and designs customer-experience solutions supporting all phases of customer lifecycle.
  • Conducts multi-year product planning to determine product life-cycle decisions, ensure consistency with overall marketing and corporate strategy, and achieve product performance, revenue, market share, and profitability objectives.
  • Identifies, monitors and analyzes internal (e.g. financials, movement, revenue, cost, sales) and external (e.g., technology, market share, competitive) performance parameters to position, modify features and identify new uses for the product.
  • Provides continuing product surveillance and management of established product to attain financial objectives.
  • Performs continual performance analysis of tools and processes to identify and correct areas of functional deficit, process friction, or negative customer experience impacts. Develops gap analysis reports, resolution business cases, and recommended plans of resolution action.
  • Accountable for revenue attainment and profitability.
  • Develops high impact presentations tailored to the audience to lead cross functional teams in resolution of marketing deliverables when needed.
  • Provides readout to leadership level regarding products and plans as assigned.
  • Acts as team lead as needed to provide leadership to less experienced professionals. Considered an expert within the discipline.

As a seasoned marketing professional, the AT&T Lead Product Marketing Manager understands the dynamics of the industry, new and emerging product technologies and applications.  Additionally, they have a thorough understanding of AT&T customer needs, ensures the development of a compelling customer experience and is accountable for driving results.  The ability to analyze and process information, produce viable options and then recommend the best strategy is paramount.  They will deal daily with senior leadership to establish strategic plans and performance objectives for programs and will have insight to analyze and define scope with cross functional stakeholders. The focus in this position is assessing and/or formulating strategic and/or tactical plans based on company business initiatives.

  • End-to-end customer experience definition/strategy
  • Successful gap analysis experience
  • Proficiency of business tools i.e. MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Visio
  • Strong background in planning, implementing and managing change
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Experience in providing presentations to Senior Management
  • Demonstrated network security experience
  • Experienced with design of experiments and market research initiatives

Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA 
  • Telecom Wireless industry experience
  • PMP Certified
