Efficient operation of the marketing sales and service center. Communicates information via telephone and mailings, takes groups reservations and answers ticketing questions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to speak, write, read and understand English at a level sufficient to take guest orders; conduct a variety of sales transactions; complete a variety of simple forms; respond to guest special requests; and answer specific questions regarding products or merchandise.
  • A mature, responsible individual with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills, an attention to detail, and exceptional patience especially for phone use.
  • Strong organizational skills Must have the ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and to assume responsibility without constant supervision.
  • Entry level typing skills Experience in information center settings preferred, but not required. Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
  • Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.

Minimum Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Promote Dorney Park as a fun, energetic, and professional place to visit.
  • Answer and direct incoming telephone calls in a pleasant and efficient manner.
  • Answer all questions callers might have pertaining to an upcoming visit to the park, special promotions, discounts, or events sponsored by the park
  • Answer guest e-mails as assigned pertaining to an upcoming visit to the park, season pass and ticket questions and inquiries, special promotions, discounts, or special events at the park in a prompt and professional manner
  • Process ticket orders via the computer in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Keep accurate records of all Park information
  • Perform clerical duties such as data entry, typing, proofreading, faxing, copying, and sorting mail
  • Assist with park events as requested
  • Works with group ticketing system to process orders for group trips.
  • Consistent knowledge of all marketing coupons, promotions and programs, as well as operating calendar, hours of operation and all other necessary information needed to communicate with guests effectively.
  • Prepares mailings to include labeling and stuffing envelopes.
  • Keeps records of telephone calls, including tabulations and general record-keeping.
  • Responds to and takes appropriate action to resolve concerns and complaints from guests and associates.
  • Provides superior guest service.
  • Communicates clearly and effectively with management, associates, guests and other departments.
  • Keeps Supervisor apprised of daily activities.
  • Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.
  • Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.
  • Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.
  • Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
