A Global Provider of Financial Services Technology is seeking a Security Analyst (Splunk, UEBA) in Dublin, Oh.
Role Description The Security Engineer will be part of the UEBA team and report to the Director of Security Analytics. Early detection of behavioral trends of activity with understood access of permissions supports a security programs effort build identity profiles of understanding. This allows for greater anomaly detection that foils a security attack but also augments moving from Detective Model to a Preventative/Predictive Model. The UEBA team focuses to apply the AI and analytics for effective triaging to improve security posture. The Security Engineer will perform an analytical and technical role in implementation, configuration and analysis of UEBA risk models, scenarios and policies using data from various sources such as SIEM, IAM, ELK stack (Elastic, Kibana, Logstash), MongoDB/NoSQL, OLAP cubes, DLP, Tanium, MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle, among others.
Skills & Requirements • Maintain endframes • Add various aspects to tool • Develop cases based on data pulled from 3rd party applications: HR, Splunk, etc. • Splunk & SQL (MS SQL), Data Science • 3-5 years of experience in Security, specifically with trainings that are proficient w/ Splunk, quering databases, anything that has to do with big data • Certification not required, but needs a strong grasp. • UEBA experience desired - this is the primary focus
