Participates in the diagnosis and treatment of patients undergoing invasive radiographic procedures. Operates imaging equipment such as X-Rays, Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Computed Tomography (CT) to assist in guiding small instruments such as catheters through blood vessels or other pathways
Requirements:
Certification/Licensure
ARRT License (or its equivalent): Texas Certification: desired
BLS Cert
Education
High School Graduate (or equivalent) Completion of accredited Radiologic Technology Program
Experience
Minimum of two years in Radiology, Special Procedures or Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
"On-Call" experience and rotation
Registry in Cardiovascular Interventional Technology, a plus.
