Job Description:
We Are Hiring: Title: Certified Nursing Assistant
Status/Shift: Full-time / Rotating (five 8-hr shifts per week with rotating weekends required)
Location: Haven of Our Lady of Peace
What You Will Do: Assists with basic patient care activities.
Assist with procedures ordered by physician and supervised by a Registered Nurse (RN).
Assist patients with tending to personal care, activities of daily living and transfers/transport.
Report findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff.
Assist with keeping patient rooms clean and orderly.
Assure resident safety by identifying safety hazards and emergency situations and initiates corrective action as appropriate.
What You Will Need: Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Nurse Aide credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing - Certified Nursing Assistants obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required.
