Our client, an entertainment company, is seeking a YouTube Channel Manager to join the team.
You will report to the Director, Digital Content and be responsible for:
Leading, monitoring and executing the strategy and channel management on YouTube for tentpole entertainment brands Explore with existing content, utilizing latest trends and new insights, to continually increase high engagement Write "clickable" copy including headlines, thumbnail and content descriptions Monitor daily performance on a video, format, title, and channel level - flagging noteworthy indicators and suggesting optimization pivots based on initial data Create system and workflow for high volume of robust content Ensure each video has complete and optimized components & work with the ops team to maintain a daily upload cadence across all channels Provide day-to-day community management and growth hacking tactics to grow and scale the tentpole brands with a variety of marketing content Look for business opportunities to increase engagement, utilize new tactics and trends, continually looking to use storytelling to elevate the brand
3-5 years of experience managing social creative for a brand or company, with a focus on YouTube video content Channel management and optimization, background in SEO preferred Able to pivot quickly working with high volume, but also adjust if content is not performing well Can create a strategic social media roadmap based on business objectives and goals outlining the content, platform and distribution strategy Top-notch written and oral communication skills, understanding the importance of copywriting for social media posts Trustworthy, organized, creative and reliable Basic video editing experience in Premiere or equivalent tool is preferred Passion for content and entertainment is a plus
