The position of Sr. Scientist, Product Development for Ferrara Candy Company assumes primary responsibility for undertaking and executing prototype development, developing and introducing new products, renovate food and improve product quality, and perform scale-up and manage consumer testing.
Education and Experience
Must have a Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field.
Must have five years of experience in the consumer package goods or related industry.
Of experience required, must have two years of experience in each of the following:
Leveraging business knowledge to flag issues and drive down project time/cost;
Ensuring delivery of product development, supply chain, and packing work requests and cost of good initiatives;
Identifying and making recommendations for improvements to key policies and processes. Experience may be gained concurrently.
