Job Description:

Austin Bridge & Road is currently seeking an experienced Communications Specialist for projects in Irving Texas. We excel at what we do and are looking for talented professionals that want to excel with us.


The Communications Specialist is responsible for running social media platforms, developing content, graphics, images and all over-arching campaign strategy and day-to-day execution and ideas. This role also includes in-house writing services, graphic projects and managing all published company content.


This role will also provide the Major Projects Division with supplemental support of communications and public involvement teams.


 


Responsibilities


 


Social Media Platforms:



  • Keep feeds fresh with day-to-day execution and ideas

  • Develop content and all over-arching campaign strategy

  • Create/publish job posts

Internal Writing/Editing Services:



  • Develop content, graphics, images and all over-arching campaign strategy and day-to-day execution and ideas

  • New Hire & Promotions Announcements

Company Publications:



  • Company publications


  • End-to-end oversight and publishing

    • Company-Related Bulletins



Graphic Projects:



  • Social media posts

  • New Hire/Promotion Announcements

  • Newsletters

  • Jobsite custom orders


  • Calendar, Posters & Brochure Production

Web/Photo/Video Services:



  • Internal/external website updates

  • Joint venture website generation & maintenance

  • Jobsite images & collection

  • Video production

  • New hire headshots

  • Event photography

Fundraising Coordination:



  • Create/Publish Donor Request Letters

  • Facilitate Fundraising Efforts & Contributions

  • Coordinate Annual Golf Tournament

 


Qualifications


 


Requirements:



  • 2+ years of experience in social media and content marketing required

  • Microsoft Office Suite & Design Software required

  • Experience with technologies and best practices for web design and creative design across multiple platforms required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of management required

Preferred:



  • Creating and executing brand identity through print and online platforms

  • Proven track record of creating and executing effective social media programs

  • Knowledge of and experience with various social media platform tools

  • Organized, accountable and action oriented

  • Agile and able to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
