CBRNE (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and Explosive) Scientist

Two Six Labs is looking to hire a 'CBRNE Scientist' with extensive experience in CBRNE-related emergency response and technologies , data analytics, weapons simulation & modeling, algorithm design & analysis, hardware and software development, and project management in the areas of experimental nuclear physics, chemistry, biology, and CBRNE sensor development & search algorithms.

Responsibilities

As a 'CBRNE Scientist' you will:

• Actively participate in and lead technical design aspects, and test and implementation phases, of research programs and productized solutions focused on advancing CBRNE detection, response, and adjudication technologies


• Lead and inform operational design for CBRNE Detection system evaluative tests and exercises


• Lead CBRNE product research and development technical efforts to include hardware, software, and algorithm development tasks


• Participate in fielding of CBRNE Detection and Adjudication technologies as CBRNE Operations SME


• Create and maintain strategic opportunities to field research technologies and productized solutions with operational customers


• Join a small, highly-focused team that values initiative and creative spirit


• Become intimately familiar with all aspects of Algorithm development, testing, and deployment


• Design and develop custom integration, testing, and deployment solutions for experimental technologies related to CBRNE Detection and Response


• Work directly with US Government R&D customers for agencies such as DARPA, DHS/CWMD , DTRA, and others

Qualifications

What you'll need:

• Masters or P.H.D. in Nuclear Physics, Chemistry, or Biology


• Experience supporting operational CBRNE response


• Experience leading or participating in experimental programs developing CBRNE Detection and Response technologies


• Experience fielding new, innovative technologies, and training field personnel on new systems and tools


• Demonstrated proficiency in advanced data acquisition, analysis, and curation tools using python


• Extensive experience working with law enforcement, government agencies, and DoD

• Understanding of development and integration practices in AGILE development process
