Operate, repair, troubleshoot, and monitor automatic and semi-automatic machinery used in the production process.
Provide "expert level" machine knowledge on the manufacturing process with the ability to positively impact machine performance. Align the process to efficiently produce high quality products after upsets occur.
Analyze and record cause of production delays on daily production reports and initiate procedures to solve equipment malfunctions and machine inefficiencies.
Ensure machines are able of producing products that meet quality standards.
Analyze causes of waste in raw materials, production and time management, and initiate procedures to resolve these issues.
Follow and enforce all safety rules and requirements to include proper lockout/tagout procedures, wearing of proper PPE, etc.
Train all levels of manufacturing personnel on the complete manufacturing and troubleshooting process.
Provide leadership during machine changeovers, preventative maintenance activities, and autonomous maintenance activities.

High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant Work Experience
At least 7 years of production experience.
Additional
Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing effective manufacture.
Understanding of how the mechanical systems interact with the production process and a basic understanding of electrical systems to maximize the manufacturing of the product.
Ability to lift up to 55 pounds of weight throughout the workday; Must be able to work in a noisy environment with an elevated level of debris.
Ability to work overtime and be "on-call" with minimal notification.
Knowledge of the manufacturing processes and associated equipment, including ancillary support equipment required for production.

Education
Trade school education, certification, or professional training.
Relevant Work Experience
Experience in classroom and hands on training on technical and process subjects.
