Job Summary
Regional Account Managers at Shapiro Metals are responsible for presenting and selling metals by identifying leads, educating potential customers on products through cold calls, trainings and presentations. Additionally, Regional Account Managers provide existing customers with exceptional support in all aspects of the business relationship.
Responsibilities
Grow and expand customer base by using innovative sales concepts to achieve assigned goals in all key measures
Call on existing and potential customers to create targeted, brand-building sales programs to drive volume and hit quantitative and qualitative sales goals
Proven virtual approach to prospecting, presenting and maintaining clients/customers
Experience with both the RFQ and analytic sales approach
Develop and implement strategic business plans within assigned geography to allow Shapiro metals to advance in the marketplace
Create a positive Shapiro Metals experience by providing top-tier customer services to customers
Work cross-functionally with teams and counterparts to consistently exceed sales expectations
Influence with integrity by identifying each customer's business needs while leveraging customer insights and trends to support your recommendations
Develop and foster business relationships with key decision makers
Gather and analyze competitor intel
Constantly further industry knowledge by studying and reading about Metals Markets and Affected Industries
Utilize networking skills to expand contact base and industry knowledge (e.g., associate involvement, attending conferences, etc.)
Perform all other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications
BS/BA or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years' experience in National Sales
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish and English
Metals Industry experience

Must be legally eligible to work in the United States
Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a drug screening and background check
Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to work
