CAI is looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team in South Florida. The ideal candidate would have experience supporting and maintaining both physical and virtual environments VMWare and Windows.

Responsibilities:

• Managing Installation, Configuration, Upgrades and Maintenance of Physical and Virtual Servers (Windows Server, SQL Server and VMWare)


• Deploy Windows and Linux Virtual Machines


• On-going maintenance and optimization of server environment


• Design, Test and Implement solutions to improve performance


• Packaging, Testing and Deploying Application packages across the enterprise


• Enterprise wide OS, Application and Security Patching


• Increasing Protection and Stability via patching and update deployments


• Manage desktop and server system updates


• Creation of images for windows environment


• Configure Disaster Recovery Replication and Recovery Solutions


• Configure and Maintain print servers


• Create customized scripts as needed


• Administration of Active Directory, MS Exchange


• Storage and Tape Management


• Will be responsible for occasional On Call support (rotation among server team members)

• 3-5 years of experience as a Systems Administrator or Engineer


• Experience with Physical and Virtual Servers windows, sql and vmware


• Knowledge of Windows Server operating systems


• Experience administering Windows File and Print Services


• Hardware Dell or other server experience


• Experience with one or more Enterprise Backup solutions


• Experience with Networked Storage solutions (SAN/NAS)

• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards


• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.


• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard and monitor
