Legal Compliance Senior Analyst - Cigna + Oscar project support - Core Medical Filing Team

Responsible for assisting the Cigna + Oscar filing lead with the management of Cigna + Oscar Small Group filing activities. Forges and maintains positive working relationships with Legal and Regulatory partners as well as Product, Service Operations and Solutions Management teams.

The successful candidate is a team player who is willing to collaborate within and across teams, has excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, familiarity with medical benefit plans, proven time management and problem solving abilities, as well as a positive attitude.

Description


  • Manage multiple form, rate, binder and network filings in the SERFF system simultaneously

  • Develop, write and revise policy and certificate language with direction from lead

  • Respond to insurance department objections and manage objections in accordance with established policies and procedures

  • Negotiate directly with state regulators (involving Compliance, Government Affairs and supporting attorneys as appropriate)

  • Self-monitor due dates in order to meet internal and external regulatory deadlines

  • Conduct regulatory research, review emerging legislation for applicability to impacted products and respond to questions relating to products, research and emerging legislation.

  • Present research findings and responses clearly and concisely as applicable based on audience

  • Represent Core Medical Filing on enterprise projects, as necessary

  • Conduct day-to-day activities in accordance with compliance policies, procedures and standards of conduct

Qualifications


  • Bachelor degree or equivalent training and mastery

  • Minimum 5 years compliance/regulatory experience with Group and Individual Medical, Pharmacy, Dental, Vision and Stop Loss products needed.

  • Experience in the development of new Group and Individual product designs from conception

  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment, while maintaining a positive, solution oriented approach

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Project Management experience

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • This is a project funded role

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
