TransCore (TCI) a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:ROP) is seeking an ITS Technician I to join our team in Ft. Myers, FL. 

Job Summary:

This position performs data collection, preventative maintenance and troubleshooting specific to all ITS equipment, devices, and above-ground & underground conduit subsystems for FDOT in District 1 and any other tasks as deemed necessary.

Required Skills & Experience: 

• Must have an excellent driving record including the ability to drive at night.


• Should have a demonstrated awareness of the safety aspects of a field technician position.


• Must be able to walk long distances per day.


• Valid Florida Drivers License (clean driving record required).


• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds occasionally

 Desired Skills:

• Able to work 40 hours week some times 10 hours a day with excessive driving to remote locations along interstate roads.

Education:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
