Schaeffler, a global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking a Group Leader - Schaeffler Services Product Management and Operations for our facility in Fort Mill, SC. This position is responsible for satisfying customers' needs and expectations in a manner that will build a strong business rapport, securing existing business while promotion growth by future business.
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ensure the team is focused on meeting or exceeding customer expectations
Organize, coordinate and delegate daily activities of the team to ensure highest level of customer service is maintained
Participates in interview process
Provides training to new employees
Provide guidance and assistance to team members as required
Reports progress to management as required
Provide quality telephone coverage in an appealing tone, responding efficiently and effectively to:
New and change orders, processing the same day
Coordinating with plants, customers, and shipping, regarding critical delivery expedites, including shutdowns and past dues
Process Request for Quotes and Price & Delivery immediately with 24-hour turnaround
Coordinate sales and quality returns including replacement orders
Initiate and coordinate debit/credit requests
Expedite shipping of product by issuing packing slips and working with ship centers
Resolve customer complaints
Coordinate Sales Operations issues in areas that surpass your responsibilities, such as Accounting, Credit, Engineering, Quality, etc.
Qualified candidates will have:
College degree (Minimum - Associates Degree, Preferred - Bachelors Degree)
Five years minimum customer service experience in a manufacturing environment
Customer oriented
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work in a fast-paced environment, making sound decisions with minimal interaction from supervisor/management
