OBJECTIVE
Responsible for the direction and coordination of materials storage and delivery to the production line.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Assure that materials are delivered to work centers in a timely and accurate manner.
Ensure products are handled properly to minimize damage and preserve quality.
Set up work center storage racks for each part to have a specific labeled storage location on the line.
Manage and control segregation of fleet and retail parts to prevent mixing.
Assist Assembly Group Leads with management of scrap bins and enter scrap tickets in a timely manner.
Verify and control material revisions at each work center (old rev levels removed or consumed prior to new rev levels initiated).
Approve time and attendance of all hourly team members in Unitime system.
Ensure that housekeeping and visual work place requirements are maintained.
Monitors performance of team members and administers corrective action when necessary.
Schedules and coordinates vacations of team members.
Supports and participates in Morgan Olson's PPS team efforts.
Adheres to Quality policy by exceeding customer expectations, being customer focused and supporting continuous improvement activities.
Adheres to Safety policies and practices behavioral based safety 100% of the time.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum High School Graduate plus some vocational training
2-3 years warehouse experience in a manufacturing / lean environment- JIT
Minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience
Working knowledge of MRP systems
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
Ability to motivate others to build a team environment
Attention to detail, accuracy, on time delivery
